Be Safe – Have Fun - Build Relationship – Achieve Excellence
Lessons
Lessons offered to riders of all ages and backgrounds – my barn or yours. Because most problems in performance can be traced to holes in the foundation, we will focus on constructing a solid base.
Each session is tailored to help you earn more trust and respect from your horse in a creative nonconfrontational way. Special attention will be paid to enhancing the harmony between you and your horse’s bodies in motion. This can always improve on the ground and in the saddle. Everything we do will help build the relationship between you.

Get together with friends and play – your barn or mine! I’ll put together an agenda and facilitate the day. Agendas will include options for participants at all levels of experience and confidence. Trailer Load
If you are having difficulty loading your horse to come here or to attend a ParelliTM clinic somewhere, I will come out and assist you. On average, I will spend two to four hours with your horse. Actual time will vary. The safety and dignity of the horse will always be given top priority.
$75/session plus $0.50/mile travel
Training
Goals and length of stay will vary with each horse/human pair. Owner will monthly receive a copy of the progress notes/time log kept during the horse’s stay.
At a minimum, the owner will have a lesson with the horse midway through the training period and again at the end. If training is being used to keep your horse conditioned in the ‘off-season’ or during a vacation – the lesson requirement does not apply. Weekly lessons are strongly encouraged beginning three to four weeks into the training period. Independent practice sessions are strongly encouraged as well near the end of the training period. Standard lesson fee will be discounted 25%.
Horses in training may be kept separate from the herd for the first three to 10 days of their stay. If planned stay is longer than two weeks, horse will live with the herd for the remainder of the stay.
$15/hour plus board
For example a 4 week stay with 7 hours per week productive time would be $420 plus board.
An estimate will be agreed upon by both parties in advance.
